Book Raving #6

Hi!  I just finished reading another book called ever soul a star and it has definetley got to be up there for one of my favorite books that I've read.  It's about three completley differient people who meet in the middle of nowhere for a eclipse sighting that is the center of attenition where they are in Iceland.  The kids names are first, Ally short for Alpha who has lived in the middle of nowhere for as long as she could remember.  She has been homeschooled there too and loves science.  Another character's name is Bree.  She is beautiful and extremely popular when her whole world gets turned upside down and she has to move to Iceland in the middle of nowhere and live there for 3 years.  She is having a great summer with her best friend Claire until her parents break the news to her.  The last main character's name is Jack who has failed science and has to go to summer school.  The only way he will stay out of summer school is by accompaniying his science teacher Mr. Silver in seeing the eclipse with a huge group of other people.  Find out how this adventure turns out.

Letters From Americans #2

Hello,

We have arrived in the new world and we have been here for I believe 2 weeks.  We have meet some nice people in the new world.  Random ships are sailing in every few days with only half the people alive.  I really hope to make new friends as good as you.  I miss you.  Every time I ship pulls in I think of you and wonder when you are going to come.  We have had so many adventures that I know you won't want to miss out on.

Love,
Constance

Book Raving #5

Hello!  Another great book is called Finally by Wendy Mass.  It is about a girl named Rory who has very overprotective parents who never let her do anything.  Whenever she asks  for things they always tell her she can get it or do it when she turns 12.  When she finally turns 12, she is definitely very fast to start doing all of the things on her list that she couldn't wait to do.  She can get a cell phone, go to the mall with her friends, go to parties, wear make-up and stay home alone. When her parents finally let her do all of the things, she finds that she will find what she needs.

Hi once again!  Another great book I read is called Out of My Mind by Sharon Draper.  It is a book about a girl named Melody with a disease disabling her to walk talk or do anything what so ever by herself.  She is in the 5th grade and has to go to H-5 the special education room.  When Melody starts taking things called inclusion classes which are classes when the students from H-5 are included in normal classes with the other students.  When they start, the teachers realize what an exceptional student she is and how brilliant she can be if her teachers and even the students at Spualding Street Elementary actually give her a chance.  Read this book and find out if the students and teachers give her a chance to show what she's got or will the ignore her as everyone else does.

Hi again!  I just read this great book called Waiting for Normal by Leslie Connor.  It is realistic fiction and a really good.  It is about a girl named Addison who lives in a trailer with her mother who she calls mommers.  Her step dad Dwight buys them the trailer and drops Addie and her mom of there and takes Addie's stepsisters Bryana and Katie.  Mommers and Dwight have gotten a divorce.  When Addie and her mom start to settle into her house,  her mom gets a job and becomes more and more distant and ignores Addie.  Read this book to find out what will happen to Addie if her mom is away one too many times.
